Common questions
How does the free trial work?
Every new company gets 30 days of full CurbCrew — every feature, no gates, no credit card to start. About a week before your trial ends you'll get an email reminder. To keep using CurbCrew after the trial, an owner needs to add a payment method; until you do, your team can't sign in, but your data stays put for 30 days in case you change your mind.
How do I add my crew?
Sign in to the web admin and go to Staff → Add valet. Drop in a name and email and we'll send an invite link. They set their own password and download the mobile app from the App Store or Google Play (or use the web version on any phone browser if they prefer). No personal phone number required from anyone on your crew.
What if a valet doesn't have a smartphone?
CurbCrew works in any modern web browser, including whatever phone they probably do have. You can also keep valets without smartphones on the schedule and have a manager file their end-of-night report or clock them in and out from the web admin.
How does GPS clock-in work?
It's optional and configurable per location. Each venue has an adjustable radius (default 100 meters). When GPS clock-in is on, valets get a “you're not at the venue” warning if they try to clock in from outside the radius — but they can still clock in; the event is just flagged for admin review. Off by default; turn it on per location in Admin Settings → Locations.
Can I export my data?
Yes. From the web admin you can export shift records, clock events, end-of-night reports, and tip distributions to CSV. If you need a different format or a full account export, email us and we'll send it over.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Your company's data is isolated by row-level security at the database, so other CurbCrew customers can't see it under any circumstances. Photos live in private storage scoped to your company. We host on Supabase (US-East) and Vercel; both are SOC 2 Type II certified. See the full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I cancel?
Email hello@curbcrew.app from an admin or owner account and we'll cancel and walk you through a data export if you want one. We don't lock you in with contracts and we don't make cancellation hard.
Found a bug or want a feature?
Same email. We genuinely use every piece of feedback — most of what's in the product right now exists because a valet or owner pointed out something that was broken or missing on a Friday night.
App status
We don't have a public status page yet — we're small enough that if something's broken, you'll usually hear from us directly. If the app is unreachable and you haven't heard anything, email hello@curbcrew.app and we'll get back to you with what we know.
