Terms of Service

Effective May 5, 2026

These Terms govern your use of CurbCrew, an operations platform for valet companies (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. The short version

CurbCrew helps valet companies schedule shifts, communicate with crews, and document end-of-night work. You sign up, set up your company, invite your team, and run your operation. We charge a subscription fee after a 30-day free trial. We try hard not to lose your data, but we're not perfect. Please be reasonable.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of any company you create or join on the Service. If you're signing up as the owner of a valet company, you're telling us you have the authority to do so.

3. Accounts

3.1 Account creation

You provide accurate information when you sign up — your name, email, company name, and so on. Keep your password secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

3.2 Roles

CurbCrew supports four account roles: owner (one per company, the person who signs up), manager(manages schedules, staff, and reports), valet(works shifts, files reports, claims open work), and dev (internal). Owners can promote, demote, and deactivate other accounts within their company.

3.3 Account termination

You can cancel your subscription anytime from owner settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms — see the Acceptable Use section.

4. Subscription & billing

4.1 Free trial

New companies get a 30-day free trial starting on signup. No credit card is required to start the trial. You can use the full Service during the trial without restriction. We may change trial terms for new signups; your trial isn't affected once it starts.

4.2 After the trial

At the end of the trial, you'll be prompted to add a payment method to continue. Pricing tiers and what they include are listed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to update pricing for new subscriptions; existing subscribers will get reasonable notice (at least 30 days) of any price change.

4.3 Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you think something went wrong with billing, email us — we want to make it right.

5. Your data

5.1 You own your data

Shift schedules, end-of-night reports, photos, time-off requests, chat messages, and every other piece of data you put into the Service belongs to you. We don't claim ownership.

5.2 We process it to provide the Service

We store and process your data to make the Service work — running the database, sending push notifications, syncing in real time across devices. The Privacy Policy covers how we handle data in detail.

5.3 Data retention & deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Crew chat threads auto-delete two days after the shift. Trial accounts with no payment method and no activity are archived after 60 days; the owner has a 14-day grace window to restore before permanent deletion. Owners can request immediate deletion at any time from billing settings or by emailing us — see the Privacy Policy for the full lifecycle.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to break any law or violate anyone's rights.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise rip off the Service.
  • Send abusive, harassing, or harmful content through the Service (including in crew chat or announcements).
  • Try to access another company's data, or impersonate anyone.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.
  • Probe, attack, or disrupt the Service's infrastructure (security testing requires written permission first).

Violating any of the above can get your account suspended or terminated, sometimes without notice if the conduct is serious.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't promise 100% uptime. Maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Apple/Google push services, Stripe), bugs, and the cold reality of running software all happen. We'll communicate planned maintenance when we can.

8. Changes to the Service

We'll keep improving CurbCrew. Features will be added, changed, or occasionally removed. If we remove a feature you rely on, we'll try to give reasonable notice. We don't owe you any specific feature.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CurbCrew's total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — lost profits, lost data, business interruption, etc.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those places this section applies to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your data, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pitkin County, Colorado, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms over time. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll let you know — by email or an in-app notice — at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

Questions about these Terms? Email hello@curbcrew.app. We read everything.

These Terms are a working draft for an early-access closed beta. They will be revised and reviewed by counsel before public launch. If you're reading this in production, we've probably forgotten to remove this disclaimer — sorry.
